Holding Hearts

Who else would I tell all my secrets to

But you, pump me up victoriously

With confidence, I say

You are my telescope

Offering life through a new lens.

Quit humming around like the rest of us

Puff out your chest, change your dress and now we look like twins.

This other side of me was always there, yet I fear I would have

Never found her without meeting You.

Awakened the soul and mold for the better

Knitting one another anew sweater

We are better together.
